Dr. Sumit Milind Dubewar is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon based in Secunderabad, Hyderabad, with over a decade of active clinical and surgical practice spanning government hospitals, corporate hospitals, and his own specialty clinic — ONE Healthcare Clinic, Tirumalagiri.
His approach to joint problems starts with one question: "Does this patient need surgery now, or can a non-surgical option be tried first?" Surgery is recommended when the condition and the evidence call for it.
This question led him to pursue formal international training in Regenerative Medicine through the American Board of Regenerative Medicine (USA) — and he holds the DABRM credential. This training forms the basis of his OrthoRegen™ programme.

Dr. Sumit began his clinical training at Government Medical College, Aurangabad, where he completed his MBBS — at a busy public teaching hospital.
His postgraduate training in Orthopaedics was completed at St. Theresa Hospital, Hyderabad, under the National Board of Examinations — earning his DNB Orthopaedics, the national equivalent of an MD in orthopedic surgery. The residency covered a wide range of orthopaedic conditions across all age groups.
He subsequently pursued two dedicated surgical fellowships — a Fellowship in Joint Replacement (FIJR) at Srikara Hospitals, Hyderabad, and a Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine (FIASM) at Orthosports, Gurugram .
He is certified by the American Board of Regenerative Medicine (DABRM, USA), an examination covering biological treatment protocols such as PRP, BMAC and joint preservation medicine. He is currently pursuing the FISRM fellowship in stem cell & regenerative medicine.
Today, Dr. Sumit runs morning hours at TSRTC Hospital, Secunderabad and consults at ONE Healthcare Clinic (Tirumalagiri), Shenoy Hospital, and Basant Sahani Hospital in the evenings. He performs surgeries at Apollo Hospital, TX Hospital (multiple locations), Shenoy Hospital, Basant Sahani Hospital, and Medicover Hospital across Hyderabad.
He is also a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) .

Every patient presenting with joint pain is evaluated against this framework. The aim is to start at the lowest step that is clinically appropriate, and move up only when the patient's condition and the evidence call for it. Suitability for each step is decided after examination and imaging.

Performs robotic-assisted knee and hip replacement with computer-planned implant positioning. Long-term benefits over conventional technique are still being studied.
Keyhole surgery for the knee and shoulder — meniscus tears, cartilage damage, rotator cuff injuries and ligament problems, usually through 2–3 small incisions. Many patients typically go home the same day.
Arthroscopic ACL reconstruction using own tissue grafts — aiming to restore knee stability and help active people return to sport, typically over 6–9 months. Sports medicine care for common musculoskeletal injuries.

Orthopaedics is a field where improvement in a patient's movement and daily life is easy to see. That is what drew Dr. Sumit to it.
His interest in regenerative medicine grew from seeing patients reach surgery whose joint problems might have been managed differently at an earlier stage. This led him to the DABRM training.
Today his practice includes both — non-surgical and regenerative care where suitable, and joint replacement when surgery is the right option.
"My aim is to help people get back to everyday things — walking to their child's school, doing their morning pooja, climbing the stairs at home."
